Phil Toms
Chair of Trustees
Phil is married to Mal and heard about Hope Kitchen through Oban Baptist after moving to Oban in 2021. After retirement he joined Christians Against Poverty as a Debt Coach on Wirral and now hopes to use his experience in service for Hope Kitchen.
Sue Johnson
Trustee
Sue moved to Oban in 2018 to
take up the role of Head of Human Resources at the Scottish Association for
Marine Science. She became involved with Hope Kitchen through meeting
Catriona and was asked to join the Trustees in 2019.
Very Rev’d Canon Margi Campbell
Trustee
Margi brings her experience of being on and chairing the Boards of Trustees for Anglican Churches in her care for nearly 18 years, as well as being on School Governing Bodies for 16 years. She also brings the support of the Episcopal Cathedral in Oban.
Sylvia Mclardy/ Lawson- Johnstone
Trustee
Sylvia is married with 4 children and 12 grandchildren and runs a successful interior design business. She enjoys meeting people and travelling and is passionate about equipping Christians. She was part of the leadership team for New Wine Scotland / CLAN Gathering and now runs the Ardfern Filling Station.
Advisory Committees
To help the board and staff we have two Advisory Groups. They are made up of people who either use the service or who work in the community and can help us to represent what the wider community thinks about our service.
