Hope Kitchen is a local charity that aims to serve Oban, Lorn and the Isles. Hope Kitchen comprises New Hope community Cafe, re_store community shop and Green Shoots Community garden.

NEWS - July 2025

We have a lot going on this week. The weather looks good for our Wednesday New Hope Beach Clean. Families welcome to this activity, a great way to support the community. On Wednesday Afternoon we will be showing a film in New Hope. Pop in to the café to find out what it is (a clue is that if you are from Scotland and you are a bit restless then this film is for you!!). DATE for your diary. 17th July 2pm-3.30pm Lomond & Argyll Advocacy Service will be delivering Self Advocacy Training at New Hope.

On Friday 25th July 2025, 12-2pm we have CAB and ALIenergy dropping in. No need to book just come in for free, confidential advice.

Volunteering at re_store

There are lots of different volunteering opportunities at Re_Store our charity shop at 113 George Street. We are looking for people to sort clothes and household items, collect food, work on the till and help with Rescued Food.

New Hope

New Hope is the local community hub and café where everyone
is welcome to meet together, enjoy good food and get involved.

Green Shoots is a community walled garden where people can
grow food, enjoy nature and develop other practical skills together.
